Sinarades
Sinarades is located about 15 kilometres south west of Corfu Town. Built on a hillside of olive and almond trees, Sinarades is one of the oldest and most beautiful villages on Corfu. Here you will find a main street running through traditional old stone buildings, a traditional town square, old houses, narrow paths, beautiful churches and local people trying to maintain traditional Corfu customs and traditions. Local produce includes olive oil, wine, fruit and vegetables.
Sinarades is well known for its Folk Museum with exhibits of traditional artefacts from Corfu history.

There are many fine churches worth visiting in the area - Estavromenos (Christ Crucified), Aghioi Pantes (All Saints) and Taxiarches. There is also the village of Varypatades where you will see the church of Aghios Stephanos (Saint Stephen).

There is a bus service (green buses) between Sinarades and Corfu Town. Taxis are also available.
