Sidari
Sidari is a popular tourist resort on the north coast of Corfu, about 35 kms from Corfu Town. It is well geared for tourists and is a bigger resort than nearby Roda. Sidari is famous as the location of the pretty Canal d'Amour - where the sandstone rocks have been eroded by the wind and the sea to form a long, narrow channel with caves along the sandstone walls. There are a number of interesting coves to explore in this area and the surrounding hills are ideal for walking. Sidari is a fun resort with plenty of activites - go-karts, bowling, tennis, water sports plus many organised bus and boat tours.

Something for everyone - families and people who want a holiday with plenty of nightlife plus daytime activities and those who like package holidays.
Tavernas/Restaurants/Bars:
Plenty of restaurants and tavernas serving Greek and international cuisine, plus take-away and fast food. There are also numerous bars providing entertainment to cater for all tastes - music, sports, quizz nights, entertainers, etc.
Shopping:
Lots of shops in Sidari including supermarkets and gift shops. Many open late at night.
Beach:
The long beach is divided into three sections. The main beach is in the centre and is sandy with shallow water. It is a good beach for children. There are numberous sandy coves to discover, with the Canal d'Amour at the western end of the beach, being the most famous. Be careful if walking near the cliffs - some are unstable.

Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire on the main beach.
Water Sports & Boat Hire:
Plenty of action on the beach including pedallos, canoes, jetskis, water-skiing, para-gliding and diving. Boats are available for hire.
Nearby:
Visit Peroulades (3 kms) and Sunset Beach for its dramatic cliffs, beautiful views and sunsets.
The traditional village of Avliotes, about 5 kms from Sidari - one of the oldest villages in Corfu.
Visit Arillas, Agios Georgios, Roda, Acharavi, and Kassiopi - all about 30-40 minutes drive away.
Transport:
There is a regular bus service (green buses) between Corfu Town and Sidari. Taxis are also readily available. This area is a good place to have your own car to explore the surrounding villages and beaches.
