Roda

Roda BeachRoda, is a busy resort located on the north coast of Corfu, 37 kms from Corfu Town. Once a fishing village, Roda is now a tourist resort and is situated along a 4 km beachfront. It is popular with British tourists.

Numerous tavernas and restaurants offering Greek and international cuisine - Chinese, Mexican, Italian, British. Many offer a take-away service. There are also plenty of bars in Roda, many have music, karaoke and performers.

Lots of shops including supermarkets, souvenir and gift shops, travel companies, car and scooter rental agencies.

Roda Beach:

A long sandy/shingle beach, about 4 kms long, with the village along the length of the beach.

Water Sports & Boat Hire in Roda:

There is a water sports club offering water skiing, para-sailing, etc. There are daily boat cruises leaving from the jetty at the end of the beach.

Costas Horse Riding Centre in Roda offer horse riding through the surrounding countryside with wonderful views.
Sidari is to the west.  Acharavi and Almyros are the next beaches along to the east.
Visit Arakosa and Mathraki islands, just off the coast at Roda.

Transport:

There is a regular bus service (green buses) between Roda and Corfu. There are two taxi companies in Roda.
