Lefkimi
Lefkimi is in the south of Corfu about 38 kms from Corfu Town. Lefkimi is the name given to the region as well as the main town. It is a small, quiet town which still retains
it traditional Greek atmosphere and architecture. Lefkimi is in a beautiful rural setting - you will see olive trees, vegetable gardens and vineyards. A small river (or canal) runs through the town and you will see local boats moored here. There are many fine churches worth visiting in the town.
Lefkimi's port of Melikia is 5 kms away and provides a ferry service to Igoumenitsa on the mainland.
For shopping and eating, you will find local cafes, tavernas and mini markets visited by the local people.
