Kalami
Kalami is a pretty bay located on the north-east coast of Corfu, 29.6 kms (about 45 minutes) from Corfu Town. Kalami is on a very scenic stretch of coastline and is between Agni and Kouloura. Kalami beach is very beautiful - a pretty horse-shoe bay surrounded by lush green hills. The writer, Lawrence Durrell, lived in Kalami for many years.

Kalami has a quiet nightlife. There are good bars and a couple of excellent tavernas.

There is a board walk along the edge of the beach.
Beautiful Kalami Beach is a fine shingle beach with crystal clear water. It is a sheltered bay so usually calm for swimming and snorkelling.

Kalami is an excellent location for people who enjoy walking as there are many scenic walks in the area. Kouloura is the next bay along from Kalami and is a 20 minute walk. For lunch why not visit one of the tavernas in Agni bay, 15 minutes walk. A longer walk is to Agios Stephanos (1 hour 15 minutes) via the beautiful beach of Kerasia.
