Avlaki

Avlaki is located on the north-east coast of Corfu about 35 kms from Corfu Town. It is a quiet, undeveloped area and one of the loveliest on the north-east coast. It is situated between Aghios Stephanos (NE) and Kassiopi. Avlaki is in a beautiful, natural area and borders the The Eremites Nature Reserve.

Beach:

A long white shingle-pebble beach with clear shallow water for about 2 metres out then drops off sharply. A nice beach for families with young children. Good for snorkelling.

The Eremites Nature Reserve and the lagoon - explore on foot, horseback or by boat. This Reserve is inaccessable by car.

Horse riding - some beautiful rides through the surrounding countryside.

Transport:

No public transport to the beach. Buses (green buses) run along the main road about 1 km from the beach.
