Almyros

Almyros Beach is located on the north-east coast of Corfu about 45 kms (one hour) from Corfu Town. Alymros Beach is actually the eastern end of a long, sandy beach, 7kms long, Almyros beach, Corfuthat starts just after Agios Spiridon and the Antinioti lagoon, and runs past Acharavi and Roda before ending at the the Sidari headland. This is an area of natural beauty with dunes and a nature reserve, and is a relatively quiet beach. There are beautiful views across to Albania.

Hydropolis water park at Acharavi. Hydropolis is set in large landscaped gardens and features 9 giant slides, 15 mini slides and swimming pools plus all the facilities of a sports and leisure centre. Open every day from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

Transport:

There is a regular bus service (green buses) between Acharavi and Corfu Town. Taxis are available.
