Agios Gordios

Agios Gordios is a relatively quiet village located on the west coast of Corfu and is about 16 kms from Corfu Town. The drive down into Agios Gordios provides a spectacular view of the long sandy bay and clear blue waters surrounded by tree covered cliffs that drop dramatically down to the beach. Agios Giordis is one of the best beaches on Corfu.

Agios Gordios has managed to retain its traditional Corfu atmosphere while still catering for visiting holidaymakers.

Families with children of all ages as well as couples and backpackers.

Tavernas/Restaurants/Bars:

Limited nightlife but there are several tavernas, restaurants, bars and clubs. Beachside disco.

Shopping:

A few supermarkets and shops.

Beach:

Agios Gordios has a long sandy beach - over 1 km long. It is suitable for children but be wary of currents.

Yes.

Water Sports & Boat Hire:

Water skiing, jet skiing, paragliding, pedallos, canoes and a diving centre. Boat rental is also available.

Nearby:

There are three traditional villages nearby worth visiting - Garouna, Pentati and Sinarades. The golf course at Ermones is close by.

Transport:

There is a regular daily bus service (green buses) between Agios Gordios and Corfu Town. Taxis are readily available. It is about a 30-40 minute drive to the airport.
